LDS Temple

Hey!  I'm so glad you stopped here!  Like I said on my main page, I'm Michelle Petersen.  I'm LDS, wife to my New Yorker husband Dave and mom to my 4 littles Isaac, Emi, Zachary and Benson.

I love being a mom!  It's some of hardest work I have ever done.  But is also some of the most fulfilling.  I started this blog because I wanted to create a place where I could share tidbits of the daily adventures I have with my kids and celebrate what motherhood is all about.  Because, despite the weeds that  sometimes come with being a mom...motherhood is a blooming beautiful life experience that I want to share with all of you.  So cheers to that!

P.S. Here's a bit about us...

Dave and I met on a blind date that was put together by our two best friends who were currently dating each other at the time.  They broke up.  But we stayed together, and the rest is history.

I have 4 beautiful and rambunctious children.

Isaac just turned 6.  He loves anything that has to do with science, art, construction, or make-believe.   And is such a great helper to me when I need a little reinforcement.

Emi is 4 and a half.  She is my only daughter and I am totally fine with that :).  You will never meet another girl as rough and tumble, adventurous, funny, loving, or mischievous as she is.  Emi loves playing dress-up, house, riding her bike, and making new friends.

Zachary is 2 and half.  He is my only ginger baby and has a personality that is larger than life.  He loves playing sports, helping take care of his baby brother, wearing hats, and doing anything that his big brother and sister are doing.

Last but not least is Benson.  I had him on May 1, 2016 (2 weeks before his due date!) and he is an absolute dream!  This little bundle of joy is just happy to be alive and I absolutely adore him for that.  He is such an easy going baby; which is just what I need during this very crazy and very blessed phase of life that I'm in!

Currently, I'm raising my babies in our first little home that we just bought this past June.  It's a darling 1920's bungalow nestled in a valley that's right up against the mountains.   It's definitely a fixer upper, but it's my own tiny piece of Heaven here on Earth and I absolutely love it!

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm so so happy to have you here!
