The Importance of overcoming hardships: brunchettes charity event

A lot of things have happened this February.  Benson started crawling and got two teeth!  Isaac began his musical theater class and has been talking non-stop about the Aladdin play they are going to do.  Emi has been blossoming in preschool and lost her first tooth!  And Zachary has been learning how to count and has been great at helping take care of Benson.  We recently installed our baby gate on our stair and whenever someone leaves it open, Zachary is the first one to run over to close it while yelling, "Save the baby!"

The Brunchettes charity event was another thing that happened this month!  If you are wondering what that is, it's a bi-monthly charity event I do with my friend Kim and you can learn more about it and even purchase tickets to our upcoming one on March 11th by clicking HERE or on the 'Brunchettes' tab found at the top of my side bar.  Jessica Gee of The Bucketlist Family will be speaking.  And if you live in Utah, I can promise that you wont want to miss it!  Especially because we will have some amazing goodies from Rifle Paper Co. and a great giveaway with items from Coco and Kiwi!

Ticket sales will go live TOMORROW MORNING.  So make sure to follow me on Instagram so you can be the first to know!  Tickets always sell out with in the first couple hours after we release them!

But in case you are wanting to learn more about this month's Brunchettes charity event, I thought it would be fun to share this video!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw that Bre Lasley of Fight Like Girls was the speaker for this month's Brunchettes charity event.  And she focused on the topics of "How to love yourself" and "Overcoming hardships".  Which Kim and I were excited to have be this month's focus because there are so many women out there, including myself, who struggle with learning how to love yourself no matter what and overcoming hardships they have experienced.  For some reason these two things, at least for me, feel like such hard things to do sometimes!  But hearing Bre's courage and awe-inspiring story really helped put things into perspective for me.  And I am so so grateful for her willingness to share them at Brunchettes!
