Have any of you sent out your Christmas cards yet?  I've already received a few and am amazed at how on top of things my friends and family are this year!  Though I really want to say the same thing about myself, I know I'd be lying if I did.  Ha ha!  I mean we do have all of our Christmas decorations up and even have all of our Christmas cards in envelopes just waiting for stamps and to be put in the mail.  But that's about it.  Ha ha!

Speaking of family Christmas cards...where's your favorite place to buy them?  In the past, I used to order ours wherever was cheapest.  Which is totally fine!  But, this year, I really wanted to send out something with a little more pizazz.  You know, the kind of Christmas card that comes on thick card stock, has gold foil embellishments, and even prints your addresses on your envelopes for you in beautiful cursive fonts.  So I was super excited when Minted reached out to me and told me about all of their one of kind, custom Christmas cards designed by the best independent artists and their free Address Assistant that printed all my loved ones address onto their envelopes for me!

Using their amazing ordering system, I was able to create one-of-a-kind custom Christmas cards, using the following 5 Unique Christmas card ideas I have seen floating around recently.

5 Unique Christmas Card Ideas you Should Steal!

1) Mixed fonts.

2) Foil embellishments
I used this both on my card and in the lining of my envelope.

3) Unique Christmas card photo
Last year, our family Christmas cards featured all of standing in a winter wonderland.  But, this time I opted for something a little more against the grain and used pictures from our retro laundromat family pictures we took earlier this year.  Which I though paired perfectly the next Christmas card idea.

4) Creative Christmas Card photo caption.
Instead of option for the traditional "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" caption, I went with the iconic "It's a Wonderful Life" Christmas movie and used a slightly tweaked version for our Christmas card.

5) Surprise feature.
For this, I decided to go with a black and white photo on the front.  But then chose a fun and bright red design to cover the back and happily each receiver when they turn over our family christmas card to read the inscription we left for them.

Knowing that Minted had endless option to choose from, I was a little worried about the time it would take me to create our family Christmas card.  But thanks to their "Find it Fast" option, I was able to do everything I wanted to in hardly no time at all!  And with the help of their current promotional offer, I was able to purchase my cards right when I found them and then go back and personalize them later.

In four simple steps, I had our family Christmas card completed and on it's way to our home in under an hour.  A total record for me!  Ha ha! Within a few short days we were all gawking over our cards and excitedly putting the into their envelopes to send off with our mailman.  I simply can't wait for all of our family and friends to get our Christmas cards this year and know you will feel the exact same way if you choose to go with Minted!
