Now that Thanksgiving is officially over, my family has quickly switched over to celebrating all things Christmas.  Our tree is up, the house is decorated, Christmas music is playing non-stop, and the littles are making daily changes to their Christmas wish lists.  Ha ha!  Though I love the festivity of this season, I love the community service activities, Christmas service activities, and the true meaning of this time of year even more!

Christmas Service Activities

For those of you who are veteran readers of this blog, you know that my family and I are LDS.  Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  And like all other Christian religions out there, making sure that Christ doesn't get lost in the commercialized hustle and bustle of this season is very important to us.  Which is why I am so excited about the Christmas campaign will be hosting this Christmas season!

It's called Light the World, and from December 1st to December 25th any and everyone is welcome to celebrate Christmas in 25 different ways over 25 days to help light the world this time of year. Which is what Christmas is really all about if you ask me!

A couple of days ago, my littles and I sat down to look over the list of service activity ideas and were so excited about the many different community service activities and Christmas service activities we could participate in to help keep Christ the center of our Christmas season.  During this month, we will be sharing a few of our favorite service activities ideas here on the blog.  So stay tuned!  But, to kick this Christmas season off right, I thought I would share a little video that my family made over the weekend about the TRUE meaning of Christmas.

Hope this month is filled with light and happiness for you and your loved ones; and I can't wait to see how you help Light the World this Christmas season!
