Halloween.  I love it!  I have loved it since I was a kid, and dare I it more than Christmas.  I know, I know!  But I just can't help it!  I love everything about this holiday: the decor, the candy, visits to the pumpkin patches, haunted houses, scary movies, and especially the costumes.  And boy, have I come up with some awesome Halloween costume ideas in the past!  But, dressing up for Halloween has changed for me quite a bit since becoming a mum.  Mostly because I now spend most of my days going on errands, taking care of sometimes unruly children, and mostly running around like a chicken with my head cut off!  haha.  Life is a bit crazy for me right now, and I love it.  But, adding a crazy and over the top costume in tothe mix just isn't working for me right now.

Anyone else feels the same way?
If so, then over the next few days I want to share with you some fun Halloween fashion styles I have come up with that still allow me to get into the spirit of this fun holiday but don't get in the way of all that I have to get done in a day.  AND, just like my easy diy children's halloween costumes, all of theses looks were created with items i already had in my closet.

So, here's today's look:

the Spider Lady Outfit

ll hair/make-up: PUREZA SPA ll top: PINK DESERT ll pants: PINK DESERT ll

Here's what you need to pull this off...

black jeans or leggings

black and white top
(I chose one with an aztec print because it reminded me of a spider web)

pair of black shoes

large plastic spider
(I got mine at a local dollar store and then turned it into a hair accessory by hot gluing a hair clip to the bottom of it.)

hair and make-up:

I opted for large, over the top, borderline crazy hair,  and then went for thick black false eyelashes and deep red lipstick.

and that's it!

Come back tomorrow for my version of a modern day witch!
