Holy smokes, Halloween is tomorrow and I'm soooo excited!  how about you?  Do you have any fun traditions that you do?  If so, I'd love to hear them!  For me and my family, some of ours are taking a hay ride to our favorite pumpkin patch, making homemade pumpkin spice donuts, carving jack-o-lanterns, stopping by Gardener Village to see the hoards of witch displays, and having a spooky themed family dinner.

With that being said, today is my final costume share.  Phew!  I know I shared a ton, and hopefully you aren't just down right sick of them, but I had so much fun doing them!   A lot of times as a Mom, I feel like I have to be the best of the best in everything that I do; especially when the holidays roll around.  But before I cross the threshold of becoming THAT crazy mom, I take a step back and realize that it isn't the perfectly decorated home, intricate costumes you wear, or even the kind of candy you give to trick-or-treaters.

What really makes the holidays important are the fun times, memories made, and company shared.  That's it.  The rest is just fluff.  So, when i set about doing this costume series, my main goal was to show that no matter what your finances or resources are, you can create some wonderful costumes for both you and your kids on Halloween.  All you need is a little love and creativity.  So hopefully, I was able to do that.

So here's my final DIY Halloween costume idea for all you mums out there.  I'm calling it the halloween queen, simply because this look consists  of some orange pants, a dark grey slouchy shirt, orange necklace, and pair of awesome flat soled shoes that are perfect for when you go out trick-or-treating with your kids.  I really wanted to wear a tiara with this outfit but couldn't find one.  so, that is something you could add to yours if you wanted.

[p.s. if you're wondering why my hair and make-up have been the exact same in all three of these looks, you can read about it H E R E]
