Popsicle Stick Washi Tape Dolls

Washi tape is an amazing crafting material that allows you to create simple but beautiful products.  Because of that, I have slowly been collecting various rolls of washi tape and storing it in my craft drawer; pulling it out whenever I want to jazz up my gift wrapping, make mini flag dessert toppers, or highlight something on my calendar.  Recently, however, I wanted to do something a little more outside of the box.  So, using some of my favorite rolls of washi tape, I decided to make a few Mod inspired popscile stick dolls that were both fun and extremely easy to assemble!

Whether you too, are looking for a new washi inspired craft, or even a refreshing take on a handmade item, this is one activity that you shouldn't pass up.

Here's what you need:

*Various rolls of washi tape.

* 1 fine point permanent marker.

* An assortment of gel pens.

* A handful of large, wooden popsicle sticks.

Here's what you do:

1) Leaving enough space up to to draw a head, begin to wrap your popsicle sticks in your washi tape.

2) Once your popsicle sticks are wrapped, use your permanent marker to transform your washi tape into various accessorized outfits.

3) Finally, draw a head, legs, and feet, and your done!

Told ya, this is an activity you simply must try!  Happy crafting Mums!
