I was reading an article on that said "nearly 8% of people keep their new years resolutions". With my track record,  I can totally believe that! No fact circling required here! So I thought long & hard about what I really needed in my life, year after year. These thing don't usually get accomplished because I'm so focused on my stupid unrealistic resolutions! Most of the solution seems mental. But most Americans seem to make resolutions that are physical. So I would like all of you to try to make more logical goals this year.  Yes, going to the gym every day & losing 10 pounds are certainly righteous endeavors, but there are a few things I think should be done first!

1.Stop posting negative garbage online about yourself,  your family or anyone else. If you are saying something rude on Facebook, you are admitting your low maturity level!

2.Stop beating yourself up for skipping the gym on days you truly didn’t have time. But also, stop skipping the gym on days you had plenty of time to go. (

3.Fuggetaboutit! Consider all relationship snafu's (familial, romantic, etc..) lessons learned. Apologize for any wrong doing. Forgive with wreckless abandon!

4. Spend your year surrounded by people you you like & dump the ones you secretly despise! We all do it. Don't try to impress people who don't respect you.

5. Cross something off your bucket list.

6.Keep a journal. You’ll appreciate it later.

7.Face your fears...IN THE FACE! Find a way to overcome them. Step on that spider, climb onto toe roof,  talk to the "super mom" at the playground. They will seem so much smaller when you are on top of them!

8.Make memories. We get so busy sometimes that we forget to stop & smell the proverbial roses.  Take pictures, write it down, make the most of it!

9. Get out! Any good psychologist would tell you that attaining mental rest is one of the healthiest things you can do. Take some time for yourself! It doesn't need to be fancy or expensive. Just get out of your world for a few days & more importantly, out of your own head!

10. BE YOURSELF! "Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You." Dr. Seuss. Never ever again let yourself take cues on how to be from anyone else.  Your  circumstances might not be ideal, but that doesn't mean you should be trying to become a whole new person.  Improve yourself, always, but never in someone else's mold!

That's all for today my loves! Have a great 2014!
