Does anyone else feel like the holidays go a million miles an hour? I hope not for your sake. I'm kind of losing my mind and almost everything else.  I couldn't find my keys or purse yesterday. Order and organization is out the window. Most days today I feel like a relay runner. Drop this person off, pick this one thing up, run this errand, and hurry home to make dinner. Maybe we all feel this way but when you throw in the Holidays it becomes madness. Someone help me! Ha ha. I needed some easy New Years d├ęcor so I whipped up an easy table setting. If you're out of time but want to be a tad fancy tonight when the clock strikes twelve or just want some fresh New Years splendor then read on.
New Years Hat Centerpiece

Supplies-
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Staples
  • Hot glue (you know I love this stuff)
Directions-
1. I took a piece of scrap book paper and cut into a quarter of a circle.
2. Connect the two straight sides to make a cone shape. Adhere together with a stapler or glue.
3. Take some pipe cleaners and cut them in fourths. I used 6.
4. Wrap one tightly around the pipe cleaners. Then fan the ends our in different directions.
5. Glue the pipe cleaner pom pom to the top of cone.
6. Glue a strand to the bottom of the cone.
7. Form the pipe cleaners in the shape of the year for example 2, 0,1,4.
8. Glue on the numbers.

3. Glue the faces under the plate so they show through the top and won't get dirty.
Easy Neon Cups
Supplies-
  • Plastic Cups
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Circle punch
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Strong stapler
Directions-
1. Punch out circles.
2. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the top of the cup.
3. Place the circle under the pipe cleaner and with a strong stapler. Staple the pipe cleaner and circle to the cup.

For embellishments I used my circle punch, scrapbook paper, and tin foil and punched out some circles to add a touch of fun to scatter on the table. I picked up the glitter table cloth at Wal-Mart. It was clearance wrapping paper so check your local Wal-Mart to see if you can get some too! So easy!
Happy New Years!!
