I have been searching Pinterest for the last week for something that would be fun to use for our center piece for the upcoming holiday. I saw a lot of super fancy, pretty things. But I had to keep in mind that although they were gorgeous crafts, they just weren't me! I have come to accept the fact that I'm not as cool or crafty as some moms & that's okay!

So, I chose this sweet little thankful tree. I like that this one has a lot of meaning. We love to go around the table & say what we are thankful for. I thought this would be a fun way to do it. Have your loved ones write what they are thankful for on the backs of the leaves throughout the week. That way everyone can enjoy it up until the day of you feast!!  I also made it in twenty minutes!! Here is what you will need:

  • about 10 or 15 twigs or small branches from your yard
  • 1 bag of lentils or beans
  • 1 strip of cute scrap book paper
  • print out my page of leaves
  • 1 glass jar, decanter, vase (whatever you have)
  • washi tape
  • string or yarn
  • scissors
  • hole punch

The rest is up to you mumsies!! I hope you all have fun making this sweet little "tree" for the ones you love. I know I sure did!! Until next time...
