 Hey ladies out there! We are super excited to post our first fitness post which also has our first videos. Hooray!  

Not everyone likes or feels the need to exercise and I understand that. For me exercising is important for my physical and emotional health. When I don't exercise I have less energy and my mood suffers. Here's a basic warm-up and cool down to get you started. 
 
Warm Up

Whatever exercise you are doing, the warm up portion of your workout is important. Here are some reasons why:
-Reduces the chances for injury
-Increases the blood flow in your muscles making them more pliable
-Increases the oxygen to your muscles
-Prepares your heart for an increase in activity
-Mentally prepares you for the workout



Feel free to turn on some of your favorite workout music during the video. You can also check out some free music for cardio here.
Cool Down/ Stretching
 
As important as the warm up, the cool down and stretching portion of your workout is essential.  You don't want to come to a sudden stop after running or cardio exercise. Here are some reasons why cooling down and stretching are important:
 
-Gradually decreases your heart rate and breathing
-Gradually cools body temperatures
-Less chances of muscle soreness
-Increase in flexibility
-Prevents dizziness and becoming faint

 Make sure you drink lots of water afterward. Look for new workout routines and videos! Until then I hope these videos are helpful to your workout routine and an easy way to exercise.
