Hello Mumsies!!

Let's talk about our hands, shall we? As we all know, colder temperatures lead to dry hands (yuck). Because it is so nice to have clean soft hands as a mumsy I thought I would share my hand scrub recipe with you. Feel free to modify this any way you want. You can add some of your favorite perfume or cologne so that you're not mixing scents. These also make a nice affordable gift for the holidays!

What you will need:

1cup sugar

2tbs salt
1/3 cup citrus zest (I love orange or cumquat, but any will do.)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup cooking oil (Olive oil is best, but use what you have.)

Wash out a medium size old jar & remove the label.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Spoon them into your jar. Put the lid on & shake!
They should all come together well after about 30 seconds.
The ingredients can tend to separate over time.
So make sure you always give it a good shake before use!

Take this cute label to put on your jar!!

Let's move onto nails! This season, neutrals & jewel tones seem to be the trend. I've even seen some pretty designs with some subtle glitter. (I know! I usually hate glitter! Just trust me!!) I've narrowed it down to my top choices.

Some might say that there are more fancy designs to choose from, but we are Mumsies!! We really don't need to spend hours on our nails for them to look great! It is still important to feel confident & cute when we are doing our everyday business!!

This polish trend is the easy sharpie enhancement. This one is by far the easiest! All you do is paint your nails as you normally do & "paint" on a design with the sharpie color of your choice. The cool thing about it is that they make sharpies in gold & silver, as well as the old familiar black! Here are some design ideas I came up with! You absolutely don't need to use mine. You're smart!! I'm sure you will come up with something amazing that suits you best!

These can be put on all of your nails or just one. Either way, you are still looking good all fall long!! A tiny bit of glitter or a thin white accent can be added to any of these.

Well, I could go on & on about all things pretty, but it will have to wait for next time! Until then Mumsies!! Send us a message if you have any questions!
